A Summer in 1993 in Spanish Harlem finally reveals the secret past of Cuban-American cardiac nurse Negra Centron. A childhood secret torments the life and stifles the growth of a beautiful woman. The ancient religion of the Yoruba people of Nigeria, known as Regla de Ocha and Santeria in the Diaspora, is the engine behind this supernatural mystery thriller. This African-evolved religion, with its magic, is the backdrop for this tale of love, hate, deceit, betrayal, obsession, forgiveness, acceptance, and hope. Magic, ritual, and destiny are the threads unraveling this gripping, edgy, mystery/thriller.

Pressured by a suspicious mother, a strange bed-fellow, and an amorous co-worker, Negra battles to keep a childhood secret from unraveling while a restless spirit and the African gods seek justice...

What I did for LOVE within 6 years (with no budget)... "A Wound in Time" Off Off Broadway; "Blood Makes the Red Flow" Off Off Broadway; "A Wound in Time" Off Broadway; stage readings and workshop productions of the three stories of my trilogy "Women You Thought You Knew"; "A Wound in Time" the feature film; upcoming full productions of the entire trilogy "Women You Thought You Knew" and the remount of "Blood Makes the Red River Flow" Off Off Broadway... Sighs of relief and disbelief... Thanks to all who helped to make it possible!

Enjoy the photos from both the original Off Off Broadway run of "A Wound in Time" at the legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and the Off Broadway run at St. Lukes Theatre!

Though the struggle is REAL we have still managed to create magic thanks to a wonderful cast and crew.  THANK YOU ALL!  Still trying to scrape my pennies together to resume filming.  A fundraiser may be on the horizon thanks to a dear friend... Stay tuned.  Nice to know that "A Wound in Time" has caught the interest of a prominent Los Angeles film distributor as they recently contacted me again and would like me to keep them updated on the film's progress. Meantime, enjoy these RAW one minute clips from what we shot in July.
