ABOUT...

A Summer in 1993 in Spanish Harlem finally reveals the secret past of Cuban-American cardiac nurse Negra Centron. A childhood secret torments the life and stifles the growth of a beautiful woman. The ancient religion of the Yoruba people of Nigeria, known as Regla de Ocha and Santeria in the Diaspora, is the engine behind this supernatural mystery thriller. This African-evolved religion, with its magic, is the backdrop for this tale of love, hate, deceit, betrayal, obsession, forgiveness, acceptance, and hope. Magic, ritual, and destiny are the threads unraveling this gripping, edgy, mystery/thriller.

Pressured by a suspicious mother, a strange bed-fellow, and an amorous co-worker, Negra battles to keep a childhood secret from unraveling while a restless spirit and the African gods seek justice...

UPDATES FOR SUPERNATURAL MYSTERY THRILLER STAGE PLAY AND FEATURE FILM

Hola!  Preparations are taking place to provide scripts to prospective directors for the feature film of "A Wound In Time".  Afterwards will begin the process of interviews.  It is hopeful that the filming of a teaser for fundraising will happen by September, and production to begin in Spring 2014.  I am so looking forward to the fundraising stage as I have some nice juicy perks to offer which are also tax deductible.  There will be events, and perks such as featured roles, sitting on set with the director and producer, film credits, and more!

Let us not forgot the gripping stage play of "A Wound In Time", for it shall return.  It is the same story but very different from the film.

So stay tuned and follow us on Twitter to stay informed!

LA PLAZA IN MATANZAS, CUBA CIRCA 2011, A SETTING IN "A WOUND IN TIME" CIRCA 1957

This is a video of La Plaza or the marketplace in present day Matanzas, Cuba.  It is the location of a scene circa 1957 in which a young Millie sees the love of her life, Ruben Centron, for the first time in the screenplay adaptation of  "A Wound In Time". She was a poor girl who longed for a beautiful dress she admired there.  Ruben, a property owner purchased the dress for her.  They eventually fell in love.  It was probably very different back then, with plentiful products.  But I'm sure the vitality of the marketplace remained the same .
