Actors Ryss and Soleidy Mendez in original showcase production.
The trials and tribulations of launching a play as the writer, producer and director. From auditions through the rehearsal process witness the evolution of this dramatic mystery thriller to the stage and beyond. First mounted in 2010 at the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the play was remounted, by popular demand, and had a successful run Off Broadway in 2012! Entering a new phase setting the stage to film the screenplay for theatrical and/or DVD release with production slated for 2014. Stay tuned.

"A WOUND IN TIME" MAY BE BACK FOR AN OPEN RUN!
So many folks who have seen the first production of AWIT have been hoping for its return. So I have been thinking that instead of just doing a few shows to film for DVD, maybe have an open run with one show a week Off Broadway. Stay tuned...
All of the wonderful folks waiting for updates regarding auditions please check this blog regularly. Any delays are due to the delicate dance of production possibilities!

THE ORIGINAL IYA CARMEN FROM "A WOUND IN TIME"...
The Beautiful and Talented Ella Joyce as Gladys
My gurl Ella Joyce is at it again with another TV series. She stars as "Gladys" in the new show "Belles" coming this Fall. So happy for her. She is a true Artist and activist and hasn't changed in all these years. She was the original Iya Carmen in the staged reading of "A Wound In Time" over 20 years ago...
