The ancient religion of the Yoruba people of Nigeria, known as Regla de Ocha aka Santeria is the engine behind this dramatic three act play. This African-evolved religion and its magic is the backdrop for this tale of love, hate, deceit, homophobia, racism, intra-racism, classism and betrayal. Magic, ritual, and destiny are the threads unraveling this gripping mystery/thriller.

Millie Centron-NEGRA'S mother. Feisty busy body and drama queen. Attrractive. Still mourning the death of her husband, Ruben. Late forties, early fifties.

Carmen-Wise , mysterious, Cuban American mulatta. A Santera, a priestess in Santeria/Lukumi religion. Late forties-early fifties.

Chee Chee-American of African descent. Gay male. Fun loving and loquacious. Negra’s pal. 40-42yrs. He’s all man and doesn’t take no mess from anyone.
